The Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors, Inc. (BPD) created the following three professional development awards in 2005. These awards are made annually and presented at the Association's Annual Conference.

• The Significant Lifetime Achievement in Baccalaureate Social Work Education Award - Acknowledges a baccalaureate social work educator's achievement over his or her entire career.

• The Distinguished Contemporary Contribution to Baccalaureate Social Work Education Award - Recognizes a baccalaureate social work educator's achievements within the past ten (10) years.

​​

• The Outstanding Social Work Program Director Award - Recognizes a current baccalaureate social work program director for his or her achievements.
